This Sorayama Shark Glass Cup is a signed piece that stands at the intersection of contemporary art and collectible objects. The cup is authenticated and shipped from Europe.
Hajime Sorayama's works, particularly his depictions of robots and metallic creatures, are highly valued for their hyperrealistic and futuristic style. This glass cup, featuring his 'Shark' motif, is an example of a functional object transformed into a piece of art, allowing collectors to integrate his distinctive aesthetic into everyday items. These editions are often limited, increasing their appeal.

Selected and authenticated by our experts
Before entering the catalogue, the piece is inspected by hand: certification number verified with the grader for cards, joints, foot stamp and paint examined for art toys, signature and numbering checked for editions. Condition is described as it is, flaws included.
Comparable pieces have trended upward in this segment in recent years. That is a market observation based on public sales, not a promise of gain: the collectibles market is cyclical and illiquid.
